Mary Ann & Ben Wedding - St. Callistus Church, Ruby Hill Golf Club

Mary Ann and Ben are living in San Diego now, since both of them are actually grew up in the Bay Area, they decided to get married at St. Callistus Church in El Sobrante and the reception party was held at Ruby Hill Golf Club in Pleasanton. Mary Ann and the bridesmaids were getting ready at her parents' house, everything was ready to go by the time I arrived. They were really well prepared, good job. Everything went smoothly during the day, and I can tell Mary Ann and Ben spent a lot of time on the preparation. I especially liked the decoration in the reception at Ruby Hill Golf Club, they selected purple and sage as the theme colors of the wedding and everything was matched perfectly. From the wedding cake, groomsmen and the bridesmaids dresses, the floral decoration, to the dance floor lights are all matched up! Congratulations to Mary Ann and Ben again, and I hope they will like all the moments I captured for them.

Tisza & Brian Engagement - Embarcadero Ferry Building, Baker Beach

Tisza & Brian are getting married in November and now is the perfect time to get their engagement pictures done under the summer weather. As many other wedding couples, they love the cityscape in the city and also some romantic shots on the beach, so we picked Embercadero Ferry Building and Baker Beach as the locations. Both of them were very relax during the session, it made my job much easier because natural smiles were always on their face. As many of you know, my style is more candid and I don't like to pose my customers too much, Tizsa and Brian did a very great job!

Julie & John Wedding - Rincon Center, Yank Sing, Hotel Vitale

Rincon center and Yank Sing restaurant in San Francisco is one of my favorite wedding locations. The combination of the water fall and the atrium creates the gorgeous atmosphere for ceremony, and of course the delicious food provided by Yank Sing was never disappointed. Congratulations again Julie and John!

Sophia - Japanese Tea Garden

Cindy and Jason got married in 2005 and I was their wedding photographer; three years later, they brought their lovely 1 year old daughter Sophia and we had a family portrait session in Japanese Tea Garden in San Francisco. I didn't shot a lot of baby/children portrait in the past because I didn't know how to make them happy and smile in front of my carema. Now, after Nicholas was borned, I started to learn how to play with them. I deeply believe mommy Cindy and daddy Jason take a lot of pictures with her, I can tell because Sophia liked to stare at my camera all the time. We spent about an hour in the garden and this little lady was getting tired, it was time to nap!

Tracie & Andy Wedding - Oakland Preservation Park, Hayward Japanese Garden, ABC Seafood Restaurant

Tracie and Andy got married at Oakland Preservation Park, I've never shoot a wedding there before and the atmosphere of the park was gorgeous for wedding. Before the ceremony started, I started my day at the hotel in the morning to capture the getting ready moment, then we went to both parents house for tea ceremony. After the ceremony, we went to Japanese Tea Garden in Hayward for the picture session. The garden was nice and there were at least four different wedding groups taking pictures at the same time, what a popular location for wedding pictures! The banquet was held at ABC Chinese Seafood Restaurant in Milpitas, it was decorated with many colorful lanterns in the dance floor. All 500 guests (yes, it was a big party) kept Tracie and Andy busy though out the night and everyone were having fun.

My first station wagon!

As many of you know, I've been driving my Infiniti FX35 SUV for years, I love this SUV becuase of the aggressive outlook, the sporty performance, and all the fancy features. After Nicholas was borned, Sam and I figured we have to replace this beast because of the stiff sport suspension, tiny backseat and trunk space, etc... After months of researching and shopping, we decided to get a wagon instead of a SUV. I finally found this rare Audi A6 Avant and it fulfills most of our needs. Sam and I are happy now and we hope little Nicholas will enjoy it as well.
