5th Anniversay Celebration | Secrets Silversands Riviera Cancun

To celebrate our 5th anniversary, Sam and I went to Cancun in the past weekend for a short break (thanks to our parents for babysit Nicholas for us.) I found a very good deal on Travelzoo and we stayed at a brand new hotel - Secrets Silversands Riviera Cancun. This is an all inclusive hotel, which means all meals, drinks, tips..etc are included. We decided to stay in hotel for the entire trip because we just wanted to relax but nothing else. Here are our daily activities: eat, drink, sun tan, drink, swim, drink, swim, eat, drink... Yes, there wasn't much to do in the hotel, but that was exactly what we were looking for - relax. Foods were awesome there, they had many restaurants and served different type of cuisine: Mexican, Asian, French, Italian, Seafood, and Mediterranean. We tried most of the restaurants and we liked the French dinner the most. We also tried the hotel spa and it was so relax. We first had the hydrotherapy, then Sam had hotstone massage and I had deep tissue. This hotel is perfect for honeymoon and anniversary celecbration, and I'd highly recommend this hotel to you. Last, we didn't buy anything back from Cancun because we stayed at the hotel all the time, but we brought a lot of sun burn and mosiquto bites with us.

Jill & Bryan Wedding | Harmony Wynelands | Lodi

Jill and Bryan got married at Harmony Wynelands in Lodi, a elegant winery where is perfect for small wedding. Temperature was really high on the day (OMG 105 degree!), but the ceremony didn't start until 6pm and which was planned perfectly. Ceremony was short but romantic, Jill and Bryan lighted up the unity candle and started their new married lives. For me , the best part of the day is the picture session, I captured many beautiful shots in the vineyard and also the sunset which was the magic moments. Congratulations to Jill and Bryan!

Verna & Reuben Wedding | St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church

Verna & Reuben got married at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church in Vallejo, the most popular and elegant church in the area. I love to shoot church weddings because the ceremony usually take about an hour and I had a lot of time to capture the sacred moments in many different angles. Especially this church has a unique interior layout, the guest benches forms a circle and surrounded the alter, that creates many different angles for me although I wasn't allow to go to the alter during the ceremony. Verna & Reuben planned out the wedding very well and they made their wedding day smooth, romantic and memorable, congratulations!

Mary Ann & Ben Wedding - St. Callistus Church, Ruby Hill Golf Club

Mary Ann and Ben are living in San Diego now, since both of them are actually grew up in the Bay Area, they decided to get married at St. Callistus Church in El Sobrante and the reception party was held at Ruby Hill Golf Club in Pleasanton. Mary Ann and the bridesmaids were getting ready at her parents' house, everything was ready to go by the time I arrived. They were really well prepared, good job. Everything went smoothly during the day, and I can tell Mary Ann and Ben spent a lot of time on the preparation. I especially liked the decoration in the reception at Ruby Hill Golf Club, they selected purple and sage as the theme colors of the wedding and everything was matched perfectly. From the wedding cake, groomsmen and the bridesmaids dresses, the floral decoration, to the dance floor lights are all matched up! Congratulations to Mary Ann and Ben again, and I hope they will like all the moments I captured for them.

Tisza & Brian Engagement - Embarcadero Ferry Building, Baker Beach

Tisza & Brian are getting married in November and now is the perfect time to get their engagement pictures done under the summer weather. As many other wedding couples, they love the cityscape in the city and also some romantic shots on the beach, so we picked Embercadero Ferry Building and Baker Beach as the locations. Both of them were very relax during the session, it made my job much easier because natural smiles were always on their face. As many of you know, my style is more candid and I don't like to pose my customers too much, Tizsa and Brian did a very great job!
