Jennifer & Ryan Wedding | Mission San Jose Catholic Church | Sofitel | Pacific Athletic Club

Jennifer and Ryan tied the knot at Mission San Jose Catholic Church. This church was built in 1797 and one can immediately see the church being weathered down and imagine the history with this church. Decoration was very traditional and elegant which is good for high contrast pictures. The dim lighting also sets the mood for a romantic ceremony. However, the photography regulation is pretty strict and does not leave much room for creative angles during our coverage. We did find a few chances to sneak out to the aisle when the church coordinator walked away(Shhhh..... do not tell!!). After the ceremony, we headed to hotel Sofitel for picture session and Pacific Athletic Club for the reception. As previously mentioned in older posts, Sam and I got married at Pacific Athletlic Club, so I'm very familiar with everything there. We love how the place is very cozy for our 150 or so guests. The coordinator is also so very helpful. BTW, their food is yummy, which is also why we choose this place. Jennifer hired Natalini Flowers by Crispy to handle the reception decoration. She did such a wonderful job, especially at the flower arbor at the sweatheart table which is beautiful and unique.

Jennifer planned all these amazing details.

Love how Jennifer smiles confidently catwalking for me!

Emily & Nathan Engagement | AT&T Park | Emily's Condo

Emily and Nathan both have sunshine smile and chose to have their engagement session held at AT&T park. Since we had the session on the weekday and there was no game during the shooting, there were only few joggers around the building and it made the shooting much easier for me. We shot everywhere around the building, the main entrance, red brick wall, palm trees, and the yacht harbor, the pictures are full of variety. Emily is living in a condo just across AT&T park, and I suggested to capture their living such as watching TV, cooking, dining...etc. Pictures turned out very natural and also memorable, I think they are perfect for the slideshow on the wedding day.

Michele & Jun Wedding | Green Valley Country Club

This was my second time shooting at Green Valley Country Club, it was different from last time because the ceremony was also held at there. Ceremony started during sunset time and the sun was acting like a spot light and focusing on Michele and Jun. I specially love the first kiss shot, Michele and Jun expressed their true loves and the sun added the moody orange color on their kiss. Moreover, the florist also did a fantastic decoration for the reception, everything was matched to the theme color of the wedding. I really like the Michele's bouquet. It was created by simple roses and calalily, but it was so fresh, colorful, and unique. Great job Leonel Angeles of San Francisco Foliage.

My little Nicholas in play yard

During weekdays, my mom takes care of Nicholas for Sam and I. I always appreciate her help because I realize that babysitting is such hard work. Nicholas is spoiled and is very clingy all the time. Once in a while like today, when my mom is not available, I become a full time babysitter for one day. When I'm on duty, I have to put down Nicholas in the play yard briefly so I can free my hands to do something else. Nicholas likes to play in the play yard because he's learning how to stand up. The play yard provides good cushion and he can peek over to look for us. My camera was handy and I picked it up to capture few shots of him in the play yard. So cute!

Linda & Edward Wedding | Ruby Hill Golf Club, Pleasanton

This was the second time I shot at Ruby Hill Golf Club this year. Different from last time, Linda and Edward had their ceremony held at the oval terrace courtyard where is completely open to sky and the panoramic view. They chose to have the ceremony started during sunset and it added beautiful color on all the pictures. I'm now working hard on editing rest of the pictures and can't way to see them on the prints.
